The Holiday season is a busy time for shopping and parking lots are full. Thefts often increase at this time of the year as many vehicles are stocked with valuables and gifts.
The most commonly stolen items include:

Laptops and tablets

Backpacks
Ski equipment
Often people assume that cars are broken in to only when there are obvious valuables left behind, but it’s important to remember that empty bags, cell phone chargers, coins, hats and even CDs left in the car can also make your vehicle a target. Leaving personal identification in your vehicle can also lead to identity theft.
